Purpose of the Committee Mission-
To encourage members--the descendants of the men and women who created these United States-- to "Celebrate America" by investing ten million hours of community service during the three years of the Young Administration.
To demonstrate the positive volunteer opportunities associated with DAR membership to current and prospective members'; to further engage Daughters in meaningful service work within the Society's mission areas; and to encourage members to discover the rewards that come from volunteerism.
To enhance the public's apprecition for the vibrancy of "Today's DAR", and to quantify and describe the dynamic, relevant nature of DAR service work in order to attract prospective members.
